Judging the Final Interview Portion of the recently concluded Miss Earth 2009 pageant, it seems like Miss Philippines Sandra Seifert gave the best answer.

She was relaxed and very spontaneous. A Miss Universe material, but sadly, a 1st Runner Up title was all she could get in Miss Earth 2009.

Because according to rumors, Miss Earth organization gave in to the pressure of not having a back-to-back win for the Philippines.

Most of the 80 candidates reportedly were more than happy to hear that Miss Brazil won the title instead of Miss Philippines.

That is why, Miss Philippines was seen crying after the coronation night.

A lot of people also noticed Miss Poland refusing to hold hands with Miss Philippines during the announcement of the winners.

And also, after Miss Brazil was crowned, only a few flock to Miss Philippines to congratulate her at least as this year's 2nd placer.

Larissa Ramos, a 20 year-old Biology student from Brazil, has won the title of Miss Earth 2009 held on November 22, 2009 in Boracay, Philippines.

It's the second time that a candidate from Brazil won the Miss Earth crown.

The first Brazilian Miss Earth was Priscilla Meirelles in 2004.

Incidentally, Meirelles, who is now a fast-rising TV personality in the Philippines, was the chairman of the board of judges during the Miss Earth 2009 pageant.

Miss Trinidad & Tobago Anya Ayoung-Chee who represented her country in the Miss Universe 2008 pageant has become a subject of a recent scandalous video scattered online.

According to reports, Anya is allegedly the woman in a homemade video of a couple doing a scandalous act.

Those who have watched the video said that the video appeared to have been recorded by Anya's boyfriend.

It's unsure though whether Anya knew it all along or was clueless that their act was being recorded.

More than 110 beautiful ladies already arrived in London for the Miss World 2009 pageant.

The candidates will stay there for three days to grace some activities and after that, they will be in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. for five days.

On November 15, they will all travel to Johannesburg, South Africa, where the finals will be held on December 12.

Laura Mariel Baez from Dominican Republic (Rep. Dominicana) won the Miss Teenager 2009 crown on October 15 at the Hotel Sheradon in El Salvador.

Twenty-one (21) teens competed for the title and the 15-year-old candidate from Dominican Republic (one of the youngest contestants) emerged as winner.

Laura stands 5'8" and measures 33-22-35.

First Runner Up (2nd Place) was Miss Margarita Island Yohana Gonzalez who was the popular choice among the online voters, which guaranteed her a semi-final slot.

In 3rd place was Colombia's Alejandra Castano while Miss Panama and Miss Venezuela was 4th and 5th Place respectively.

Host delegate meanwhile failed to reach the semis.

From October 18 to October 25, the International Model of the Year 2009 competition is going to be held in Seoul, South Korea.

Thiago Silvestre, 23, was crowned Mister Gay Brasil 2009 on September 7, 2009 at Teatro Santo Agostinho in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Twenty (20) candidates competed in the 3rd Mister Gay Brasil beauty pageant and Thiago was declared the most beautiful and most intelligent of them all.

Thiago represented Mato Gross and is currently a Business Administration student.

He will represent Brazil in the Mr. Gay World 2010 in Oslo, Norway.
